  2. The designer builds it.

    It plans an original design for your business and builds every page you need. It checks its own work on phone, tablet and computer screens. Your homepage takes about 20 minutes, and you can close the page while it works.

  3. Make it yours, then publish.

    Choose a page from the page name at the top of the editor. Click any words, photo or color to change it, or ask the designer. Publish to a free yourname.encontado.com address when it feels right.

The designer works with your words, colors, fonts, spacing and layout. It does not draw pictures: photos come from your own uploads or a licensed stock library, and logos have their own page in the studio. These requests are examples on sample sites.

Card payments are not switched on yet. When they are, they go straight to your own Stripe account, and Encontado never sees card numbers. Your site stays private until you press Publish.

Do I need to know anything about websites?

No. You answer a few short questions about your business, one at a time, then pick a style for your website and your colors. After that you change things by clicking on them, or by typing what you want, the way you would ask a person.

How long does it take?

Your homepage takes about 20 minutes. Building the rest of your pages takes about 20 more. You can close the page while the designer works. It keeps going, and your website is waiting when you come back.

What kinds of changes can I ask for?

Anything about the words, colors, fonts, spacing and layout of a page. Rewrite a section, add one or take one away, move things around, or update your hours, prices and contact details. For new pictures, upload your own photos and swap them in. Logos have their own page in the studio.

What if I do not like the design?

Click anything to change it, ask for changes in plain words, or ask for a completely different direction. Every version is saved, so you can always switch back to one you liked better.

Can I bring over my current website?

Yes. Add its address in the interview. Encontado reads it for facts like your services, hours and contact details, then designs a new site around them instead of copying the old layout.

Can I use my own photos, logo and menu?

Yes, and it makes the biggest difference. Add your logo, a few photos of your place and your work, and a menu or price list as a PDF right at the start. If you have no photos yet, the designer uses licensed stock photos and never presents them as your team or your work.

Can I have my own address, like yourbusiness.com?

Every website gets a free address like yourname.encontado.com. Your own domain, such as yourbusiness.com, comes with the paid plans, which are not on sale yet.

Can customers buy from me or book with me?

They can book with you, sign up for your events, order food for pickup and send you messages, all on your website. Card payments and an online shop are not switched on yet, so for now customers pay you in person. The contact form sends messages to a private inbox in your studio.

What does it cost?

Starting is free, on a yourname.encontado.com address, with a monthly allowance of requests to the designer and unlimited changes by hand. There are no credits to buy. Paid plans with more room and your own domain are planned at $12 and $29 a month, and are not on sale yet.
